Full stitch coverage with high density significantly increases machine time and thread usage. Color changes add to this. An 8 cm patch can take:
- a few minutes to stitch (simple design), or
- 25–35 minutes to stitch (dense, detailed design)
2. Logo detail
Small text, fine lines, and complex shapes require:
- careful manual digitizing
- slower machine speeds, special needle and thread use
- manual finishing
3. Backing type
Different backing options affect both material cost and production time:
