Polo shirts done right for teams of 10 to 100

A branded polo is the most common piece of team apparel ordered in Europe. It works for office, event, hospitality, and uniform use. It survives the wash. It looks like a team without trying too hard.

The hard part is choosing the right one. Cotton or piqué? 180gsm or 220gsm? Which brand? Men’s, women’s, unisex? That’s 80 variables across catalogues you don’t have time to read.

You tell us four things — colour, fabric weight preference, cut, and budget range. We recommend the right polo from EU blank ranges. 10+ years of textile expertise applied to a decision that takes most buyers half a day. Yours takes one email or form filled.

What you choose, what we handle

You choose:

  • Fabric tier — standard 180–200gsm or heavyweight 220gsm+
  • Cut — men’s, women’s, unisex
  • Colour — white, black, navy as standard; any other colour available from EU blank ranges
  • Decoration — chest patch (default), high-detail chest patch, direct chest embroidery, back patch, back direct embroidery, or combinations
  • Quantity — from 1 piece on stocked items, from 10 pieces on custom orders

We handle:

  • Recommending the specific garment model and brand that fits your brief
  • Confirming stock availability with the EU blank supplier
  • Designer mockup showing your logo on the chosen polo
  • Embroidery production in our Finnish atelier
  • Quality check before shipment
  • EU tracked shipping, B2B invoice with VAT 0% for valid VAT numbers

Patch applied or direct embroidery

Our default recommendation is an embroidered patch applied to the polo. Here’s why.

  • Cleaner detail. Small text, gradients, and fine logo elements render better on a patch than directly into polo fabric. Polo piqué is a textured weave and dense direct embroidery can pucker.
  • Soft backing. The patch sits on top of the garment with a clean edge. The polo underneath isn’t punctured by thousands of stitches.
  • Replaceable. Patches can be removed and reattached if the polo is damaged or the staff member leaves and another joins.
  • Consistent across the batch. Patches are produced in a controlled batch then applied. Direct embroidery varies slightly polo to polo due to fabric movement under the machine.

Direct on-garment chest embroidery is available and we do it well — it suits simple logos, text, and traditional uniform looks. The mockup will show both options if you’re unsure, and we’ll recommend honestly based on your logo.

Print-on-textile patches with embroidered border are also an option — useful for designs with photographic detail or gradient colours. Cheaper than fully embroidered patches and no digitising fee.

What’s the minimum order for embroidered polos?

No minimum on the stocked black polo XL — orderable from 1 piece for fast turnaround. For custom colour, cut, or size mix, minimum is 10 pieces.

What’s the difference between standard and heavyweight polos?

Standard polos sit at 180–200gsm fabric weight — light, breathable, suitable for events and warm-weather use. Heavyweight polos are 220gsm and above — denser fabric, holds shape longer (!), looks more premium, better for uniforms and brand-conscious teams. We recommend the right tier based on your use case.

Can we get men’s and women’s cuts in the same order?

Yes. Mixed-cut orders are common — same garment brand and model in men’s and women’s versions. Confirm size mix at mockup approval stage.

What sizes are available?

Standard EU sizing XS to 4XL depending on the garment range. Most ranges cover S to 3XL as standard, with XS and 4XL available on request. Confirm exact size availability at mockup stage based on the chosen model.

Can we get the polo in a non-standard colour?

Yes usually. EU blank ranges cover most colours including company-brand shades. If you need an exact Pantone match, send us the Pantone reference at quote stage and we’ll find the closest available polo. For 100+ pcs orders we can engage vetted EU factories to exactly match your brand colors. Thread colour matching for the embroidery is handled separately — standard PMS matches are included, exotic colours flagged in advance.

How long does production take?

Standard production is 2–3 weeks from artwork approval and payment. EU tracked shipping adds 3–6 business days. Rush production available at +50% decoration cost, but only the decoration can be rushed — the blank polos themselves arrive on the supplier’s standard timeline.

Can we see the polo before committing to the full order?

We send a detailed video of the in-stock sample polo — you see the exact model and how the embroidery sits on the fabric. For orders of 50+ units, a physical sample can be sent for 3x the unit price in advance, credited against the final order if it proceeds. And of course we can always do embroidery samples on a similar fabric cut.

Do you accept reorders on existing files?

Yes. Reorders are the easiest order to place. Embroidery file, garment specification, and decoration setup are kept on record. Top-up orders run faster with no setup costs.
