Tell-About us Program: one recommendation, two better orders

When you recommend Mottopatch to a business, club or school that has never ordered from / asked for a quote from us, both of you get a better price. The new customer gets digitizing of their design included in their first order. You get extra patches on your own next order.

How it works in 3 steps

  1. Get your partner code. Email us and we send you a personal code. It is valid for 6 months; we send you a new one when it expires.
  2. Pass it on. The new customer writes your code in their very first message to us. Or introduce them by email with us in copy. The code must reach us before their first enquiry.
  3. They order, you get your reward. When their first order of 50 or more standard patches* is paid, digitizing is included for them, and we send you a personal reward code for your next order.

How you use your reward

Your reward is added to a paid order of your own, within 12 months. You pay at least delivery and 2 patches; the reward patches are made in the same design. If your design is already digitized with us, you get the extra patches. If you need a new design, we include digitizing of one standard design instead. You can use your reward with your very first order — you don’t need to be a customer yet.

*Standard patch: up to 9 cm, up to 5 colours, up to 15,000 stitches per patch.

Trade accounts: a growing discount for agencies and promoters

If you order patches for your clients, a trade account gives you a fixed discount on every order. The discount rises with your yearly order volume, so the more projects you run through us, the better your price.

How trade pricing works

  • Your discount starts with the order after you reach a tier. It is not applied backwards.
  • The tier you reach in a year stays with you for the whole next year, so January never resets your price.
  • Quote your partner code on each order. Orders without the code are invoiced at regular price and do not count.
  • Orders with at least 20 pieces per design count toward your volume.
  • Production, white-label packing and proper business paperwork are the same as for all our B2B orders. See White-label embroidery for agencies.

Joining takes one email to smile@mottopatch.com. Tell us your name, organisation, country and which program fits you (Tell-About or Trade-Account). We reply with your partner code within 1-2 working days.

FAQ Questions about Mottopatch Partners

Who can join Mottopatch Partners?

Anyone who can recommend us to a business, school, club or team can join Tell-about. Agencies and resellers with Business ID who order for clients can open a trade account. Each partner chooses one of the two.

Do I need to be a Mottopatch customer to recommend you?

No. If you have never ordered, your reward is added to your first paid order. If you need a new design, we include digitizing of one standard design instead of extra patches.

Who counts as a new customer?

A business, school, club or organisation that has never ordered from us and has not contacted us before your introduction. People who asked us for a quote in the past but never ordered do not count as new customers.

When do I receive my reward?

We send your reward code after the new customer’s first order is paid in full and the payment has cleared, normally within one or two weeks. You then have 12 months to use it with your own order.

Can I get money instead of patches?

No. Rewards and trade discounts are always applied as a better price on a paid Mottopatch order. They have no cash value and cannot be transferred.

What is a standard patch?

A patch up to 9 cm, with up to 5 colours and up to 15,000 stitches. Reward patches and included digitizing always refer to this size and level of detail.

Can I share my partner code on my blog or social media?

Yes, on your own channels, as long as you say you are a Mottopatch partner. Coupon and deal websites are not allowed.

Can I combine Tell-about rewards and a trade discount?

No. One benefit applies per order, and each partner joins one of the two programs.

Mottopatch Partners — program rules

Mottopatch Partners is run by Mottopatch, Business ID 3421622-1, Finland.

You join by email. Each partner joins either Tell-about or a Trade account, not both. We may decline an application.

Your partner code is personal and valid for 6 months. When it expires we issue a new one, and the old code stops working.

A new customer has never ordered from us and has not contacted us before your introduction, including earlier quote requests.

The new customer gives your partner code in their first message to us, or you introduce them by email with us in copy. If two partners introduce the same customer, the first code we receive counts.

The new customer must be a different business, organisation or person from you. Your own company, a company you own or manage, and your household do not qualify.

The new customer’s first order must contain at least 50 standard patches, be placed within 90 days of the introduction, and be paid in full. One reward per new customer, once. Their later orders do not earn further rewards.

On the qualifying order, digitizing of one standard design is included. The welcome code is single-use, valid 90 days and linked to the new customer’s email.

We issue your reward code after the new customer’s payment has cleared, normally within 14 days. If their order is cancelled, refunded or charged back, the reward is cancelled; if already used, the reward patches are invoiced at list price

Your reward follows the table above and is used on a paid order of your own within 12 months. You pay at least delivery and 2 patches. Reward patches are standard patches in the same design. If your design is new, digitizing of one standard design is included instead.

Discounts follow the tier table and are based on net orders excluding VAT per calendar year and per legal entity (Business ID or VAT number). Orders of related companies are not combined. The discount applies from the order after a tier is reached, never backwards, and the tier carries into the next year. Only paid orders that quote your partner code and have at least 20 pieces per design count.

Rewards and discounts have no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold, and cannot be combined with each other or with other offers. One benefit applies per order. They are shown as discount lines on our invoice.

You may share your code on your own channels if you say you are a Mottopatch partner. Not allowed: coupon or deal websites, paid ads on the Mottopatch name, unsolicited bulk messages, or presenting yourself as Mottopatch.

False information, invented customers or self-introductions void the related codes, rewards and discounts and end the partnership. We check every introduction and tell you if one does not qualify.

We may change or end the program with 30 days’ notice on this page. Codes and rewards already issued stay valid until they expire.

To run the program we keep your name, organisation, country, email and order references. Data of partners inactive for 24 months is deleted. See our Privacy Policy.
