Patch applied or direct embroidery on hoodies
Our default for hoodies is a patch applied to the front chest. Hoodies are typically made from loopback or French terry fleece — a surface that holds direct embroidery less cleanly than tightly woven fabrics. A patch resolves this: it’s produced on a stable base, then applied cleanly to the hoodie front.
- Front chest patch (default). Up to 10k stitches. Clean logo presentation, soft garment interior, no puckering.
- High-detail front patch. Up to 20k stitches for complex logos, small text, or multi-colour detail work.
- Back patch. Large format applied patch for brand messaging, club names, or event details on the back.
- Back text direct embroidery. Single line or short text run across the back yoke. Works well for team names or simple slogans on heavyweight fleece.
- Print-on-textile patch with embroidered border. For designs with photographic detail or gradients. No digitising fee.
No sleeve embroidery on hoodies. Hood embroidery available on request for small simple designs only.

Zip hoodies open fully at the front — easier to put on over other layers, more versatile for office-to-outdoor use. Pullover hoodies have a cleaner chest area for logo placement since there’s no zipper interrupting the front. Both are available. We recommend based on the team’s primary use case.
280gsm is standard and sufficient for most team and event use. 300–320gsm is heavier, holds shape better over repeated washing, and looks more premium — better for uniforms, club kits, or welcome gifts that need to last years rather than one season.
Yes. Crew-neck sweatshirts are available in the same weight options and decoration choices. Popular for corporate teams and academic programmes where the hood isn’t needed.
Yes. The most common combination is a front chest patch plus a back patch or back text embroidery. Both are quoted as separate line items. Mockup shows all placements before production.
Standard production is 2–3 weeks from artwork approval and payment. EU tracked shipping adds 3–6 business days. Rush production available at +50% decoration cost — blank garments still arrive on the supplier’s standard timeline and cannot be rushed.
Yes. Stanley/Stella produces GOTS-certified organic cotton hoodies and sweatshirts — available in the same decoration options. Slightly higher garment cost, quoted at request stage.
