Patch applied or direct embroidery on fleece
Fleece fabric is a textured pile surface — direct embroidery on fleece can sink into the pile and lose definition, particularly for detailed logos and small text. Applied patches solve this by providing a stable embroidery base on top of the fleece surface.
- Front chest patch (default). Clean logo on a woven or felt base, applied to the chest. The fleece pile doesn’t interfere with stitch quality.
- High-detail front patch. Up to 20k stitches — for complex logos, small text, or multi-element artwork.
- Back patch. Large-format applied patch for brand name, team text, or event details.
- Back text direct embroidery. One or two lines of text stitched directly into the back. Works on densely constructed fleece where the pile is tightly locked. We advise based on the specific fabric.
- Print-on-textile patch with embroidered border. For photographic or gradient designs. No digitising fee.

Fleece fabric has a raised pile surface. Direct embroidery sinks into the pile and loses stitch definition, particularly for small text and complex logos. An applied patch sits on top of the pile on a stable base, giving clean results regardless of fleece texture.
A fleece jacket has sleeves; a body warmer or gilet is sleeveless. Gilets are popular for trades and outdoor work because they allow arm movement while keeping the core warm. Both carry logos cleanly on the chest and back.
Yes. Back patch is the most common add-on — team name, company name, or large-format logo. Back text direct embroidery is also available on appropriate fleece weights. Both shown in mockup before production.
